During the years of the Great Patriotic War many chemical plant employees went to the front, the rest have continued working in the shops for the sake of the Victory (hand grenade components, soldier's cans, matches and soap were manufactured at the enterprise). After the liberation of Rostov-on-Don from aggressors the obelisk in memory of the enterprise employees who didn’t come back from the war has been erected in the territory of the plant. Every year on the eve of the Victory Day the memory meeting and red carpet welcome of veterans is held near the obelisk, dedicated to soldiers-chemists: flowers are laid, gifts are presented, melodies and songs of military years sound.
Also, very warm relations developed with the Rostov Hospital of War Veterans. On the eve of the Defender of the Motherland Day and Victory Day Empils’ representatives come to the hospital to pass gifts and congratulate patients undergoing medical treatment and medical personnel. Empils organizes a festive concert of the actors of the Philharmonic Society and Musical and Drama Theaters of Rostov-on-Don for the Hospital patients. Also, the company helps this medical institution to repair premises and purchase necessary equipment.
Besides, Empils is a participant of the Russian national St. George Ribbon campaign.
