Description:
The primer is a suspension of pigments and extenders in alkyd varnish with the addition of
solvents, dryer and stabilizing agents.
Field of application:
It is used for priming metal and wooden surfaces before applying different enamels, and also for
temporary protection from corrosion in one-layer coating of large-sized metal constructions
during assembling and storage.
Properties:
It provides high degree of antirust protection for metal surfaces.
The primer provides high degree of adhesion of the painted surface with paint and varnish, and
prevents their flaking.
The primer film is resistant to temperature fluctuations from minus 50°Ñ to plus 60°Ñ.
Application method:
The primer is applied to the surface by dipping, flow coat method, spraying methods and with a brush
as well.
Solvent:
Solvent (GOST 10214 or GOST 1928), xylene (GOST 9410 or GOST 9949)
or mixture of one of these solvents with white spirit (Ñ4-155/200 nefras in accordance with
GOST 3134) in 1:1 ratio according to weight.
